GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP REMAJA TENTANG ROKOK DAN BAHAYANYA

Abstract

Based on Riskesdas 2007 by 34.2%, Riskesdas 2010 by 34.3% and Riskesdas 2013 to 36.3%. The purpose of this study was to determine the Knowledge and Adolescent Attitudes About Cigarettes and the Dangers in SMP Negeri 9 Bandung. The design of this research is descriptive. The population in this study were adolescents grade VII and VIII of SMP Negeri 9 Bandung. The sampling technique uses stratified random sampling method with a sample of 246 respondents. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire to find out the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about smoking and its dangers. Based on the results of research on Adolescent Knowledge about Cigarettes and the Dangers in SMP Negeri 9 Bandung 2020 almost half of the respondents were in the sufficient category of 94 people (38.2%). And the Description of Adolescent Attitudes About Cigarettes and the Dangers in SMP Negeri 9 Bandung 2020, more than half of the respondents were in the category of quite supportive attitudes namely 164 people (66.7%). It is recommended for educational institutions of SMP Negeri 9 Bandung to be able to provide information about cigarettes and the dangers, especially regarding the content of cigarettes and attitudes influenced by friendship / friendship for health and can increase sources of information both from health workers and schools and the teacher council, through print media and electronics so that its reach is getting wider.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Gambaran Pengetahuan dan Sikap Remaja Tentang Rokok dan Bahayanya di SMP Negeri 9 Bandung. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah remaja kelas VII dan VIII SMP Negeri 9 Bandung. Teknik sampling menggunakan metode stratified random sampling dengan jumlah  sampel 246 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan sikap remaja tentang rokok dan bahayanya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Gambaran Pengetahuan Remaja Tentang Rokok dan Bahayanya di SMP Negeri 9 Bandung 2020 hampir setengah responden berada pada kategori cukup yaitu 94 orang (38,2%). Dan Gambaran Sikap Remaja Tentang Rokok dan Bahayanya di SMP Negeri 9 Bandung 2020 lebih dari setengah responden berada pada kategori sikap cukup mendukung yaitu 164 orang (66,7%). Disarankan bagi institusi pendidikan SMP Negeri 9 Bandung agar dapat memberikan informasi mengenai rokok dan bahayanya terutama mengenai kandungan rokok dan sikap yang dipengaruhi oleh pergaulan/ pertemanan bagi kesehatan serta dapat meningkatkan sumber informasi baik dari petugas kesehatan maupun pihak sekolah serta dewan guru, melalui media cetak dan elektronik agar jangkauannya semakin luas.
