A good body image will make a person have a positive self-concept. With a positive self-concept, a person will easily live his life, appear more confident and more assertive. The health center used as a partner is the Gang Kelor Health Center. The results of the preliminary study obtained the number of pregnant women there are 1162 people and the services provided so far only handle the care of pregnant women physically, have not touched on psychosocial problems. Therefore the involvement of other health workers is needed, in this case personnel from the Nursing Study Program. The solution provided to partners is the application of the Adaptation nursing model. The goal is to find out how to apply the Adaptation nursing model in an effort for primigravida mothers to accept changes in body image during their pregnancy. This activity begins with screening and 17 pregnant women who do not accept changes in body image are selected, then a pre-test is conducted, then education on theory and practice related to the adaptation nursing model and changes in body image of pregnant women. Evaluation test with the results from 17 respondents there was an increase in body image value of 8.25 from 68.53 to 76.78 which means that primigravida mothers accept changes in body image during their pregnancy.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Kesehatan Indonesia https://jurnal.polkesban.ac.id/index.php/jpmki/article/view/2772 PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PEMANFAATAN DAUN PEPAYA DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN RESIKO PENYUMBATAN PEMBULUH DARAH DI RW 16, KELURAHAN CIPAGERAN, KECAMATAN CIMAHI UTARA 2025-06-30T14:36:54+08:00 Eem Hayati eem.hayati@yahoo.com Betty Nurhayati betty.nurhayati4@gmail.com Ganjar Noviar ganjar.tlm@staff.poltekkesbandung.ac.id Muhammad Ihsan Nurhadi ihsann0203@gmail.com Regina Eka Setiawan reginaekas@gmail.com Entin Suhartini entinsuhartini107@gmail.com Riski Nur Ramadhani riskinr13@gmail.com
Stroke is part of Cerebro Vascular Disease (CVD), which is any form of blood circulation disorder affecting the brain or due to pathological processes in the blood vessels. Acute infarction stroke is caused by blockage or occlusion of the small cerebral arteries caused by blood clots (thrombus) originating from excessive clotting of platelets which must be given antiplatelet agents. Indonesia has biodiversity, including a diversity of plants that can be used as traditional medicine. One of the medicinal plants that contains natural ingredients that have the potential to have biological activity as an antiplatelet is papaya leaves (Noviar, 2023). Flavonoid compounds, steroids and tannins in free form and tannin-protein complexes have anti-aggregation properties. This research uses 2 methods, namely survey and sampling methods to determine the scope of empowerment and education in the form of counseling and assistance. Apart from that, another method used is an educational method in the form of counseling and assistance to provide an understanding of the use of papaya leaves to prevent the risk of blood vessel blockages. The results of research from 18 cadres showed that based on the Wilcoxon test, a sig value of 0.000 <α (0.05) was obtained. Thus, it can be concluded that the pre-test scores and post-test scores have a significant difference in scores with an increase in scores for cadres of 22.66% or 40.02%. Meanwhile, the results of the Paired T Test obtained a sig value of 0.000 <α (0.05), thus it can be concluded that the platelet aggregation value before and after administration of papaya leaves had a significant difference with a decrease in value of 9.94% or 13.87%. This shows that papaya leaves are effective in reducing platelet aggregation to prevent the risk of blood vessel blockages
2025-06-30T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Kesehatan Indonesia https://jurnal.polkesban.ac.id/index.php/jpmki/article/view/2554 THE FORMATION OF A GROUP OF PREGNANT WOMEN CARE FOR STUNTING IN THE FIRST 1000 DAYS OF LIFE (HPK) IN THE SIDOLUHUR AND CAHAYA NEGERI VILLAGE AREA OF SUKARAJA DISTRICTSELUMA DISTRICT 2024-10-16T21:46:54+08:00 Tonny Maigoda tony@poltekkesbengkulu.ac.id Lela Hartini lela_hartini@yahoo.com Sri Yaniarti sri123yanniarti@gmail.com Nispi Yulyana nispiyulyana21@gmail.com Desi Widiyanti widiyanti.desi@gmail.com Eliana Eliana eliana_nopel@yahoo.co.id
The World Health Organization (WHO) reports an increase in stunting incidence data globally. However, improper pesticide usage can pose health and environmental risks. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of vegetable crop pesticide sprayers in West Bandung agricultural area, regarding safe pesticide spraying practices through education and training. The methods included observation, training, assistance, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed a significant improvement in farmers' knowledge levels, from the "Poor" category before training (<50%) to "Good" after training (100%). The program also increased farmers' awareness of using personal protective equipment (PPE) and implementing proper pesticide spraying procedures. The program's recommendations include ongoing education and the establishment of local facilitator teams to support program sustainability.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Kesehatan Indonesia
