People with mental disorders (ODGJ) in Indonesia have increased. In West Java, 11.360 people suffered from severe mental disorders in 2017 and increased to 16.714 in 2018. Some ODGJ are treated in psychiatric hospitals because of violent behavior and when they are declared cured after being at home they are very at risk of violent behavior, so they need special handling as a form of prevention of mental disorders. To prevent this, ODGJ should be empowered to control their behavior, especially the risk of violent behavior, so that something unwanted does not happen. Handling ODGJ with the risk of violent behavior can be done with a prevention program, namely religious therapy: listening to audio murottal Al-Qur'an and deep breath relaxation. The deep breath relaxation and murottal Al-Qur'an techniques listened to through audio not only cause a calming effect on the physical body but also calm the mind so that it can reduce the risk of violent behavior. This community service aims to empower cadres and ODGJ in reducing signs of risk of violent behavior in Sukapura Village, Babakan Sari Health Center Working Area, Bandung City. This activity began with training 10 health cadres to help empower 16 ODGJ in helping to reduce signs of risk of violent behavior by listening to deep breath relaxation audio and murottal Al-Qur’an: Surat Al-Fatihah twice a day for 2 weeks. The results and outcomes of this activity are an increase in cadre knowledge related to the risk of violent behavior and how to control it and a decrease in feelings of risk of violent behavior in ODGJ.
Vera Fauziah FatahDesmaniarti ZAnah Sasmita

Based on the 2018 Basic Health Research Data, it was found that the prevalence of nutritional problems in School Age Children (AUS) was in the fairly high category for the short (16.9%), thin (6.8%), overweight (9.2%) and obese (10,8%). Delivery of health information to school-age children requires media that is easy to understand and attracts children's attention so that information can be conveyed properly. This study aims to determine the effect of the educational game "Ziplock Games" on knowledge and attitudes of balanced nutrition in students at UPTD SDN 1 Bank Jabar Langensari. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test on 36 responden consisting of students in grades IV, V and VI. Data collection is done directly using a questionnaire. The statistical tests used in this study were the T-Dependent test and the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference (P value = 0.000) between knowledge and attitudes of balanced nutrition before and after the intervention.
Iqlima AlmunawaDadang RosmanaWitri PriawantiputriGurid Pramintarto Eko Mulyo

Karawang Regency is included in the 14 districts that are the LOCUS for intervention in reducing stunting rates in West Java. Meanwhile, Karawang Regency itself has a Nutrition Status Monitoring Locus (PSG) area, namely ten Community Health Center Working Areas (Profile of the Karawang Regency Health Office, 2018). The Karawang District Health Service reported that the number of residents in this area experiencing stunting reached 12 percent. Meanwhile, the population of the region called the base city of this struggle is more than 2.2 million people. In this way, there are around 264 thousand people with stunting problems in the Karawang area (Profile of Karawang District Health Office, 2018). Karang Pawitan sub-district is the city center/government center which has health facilities (Puskesmas Karawang), educational facilities (SMPN, SMA/SMKN, and training institutions/courses) and a large field (Karang Pawitan Field) where large events/ceremonies are held organized by the Regional Government, also close to entertainment facilities, shopping centers, fast food restaurants and so on. So, this area is very vital not only for the people of Karawang City, but also for Karawang Regency. The aim of implementing community service is to increase the knowledge of Posyandu cadres and mothers in the Karawang Community Health Center working area regarding early detection of stunting. The implementation of community service at the Karawang Community Health Center began with coordination with the head of the Community Health Center on May 31, 2023. The results of community service activities showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of Posyandu cadres about early detection of stunting and an increase in the knowledge of mothers with toddlers about early detection of stunting.
Herry SugiriA.
A healthy community is a key indicator of a quality and sustainable environment, which is achieved through healthy living behaviors and effective waste management. In Sukasari Village, structured community service efforts are needed by lecturers majoring in Environmental Health to increase community knowledge and awareness about the importance of these two aspects, in order to overcome challenges related to health and waste management that are still high. The method of service implementation begins with a situation analysis and needs identification in Sukasari Village through surveys and interviews, then educational materials on healthy living behavior and waste management are developed and delivered through training, workshops, and practical demonstrations. This program involves the formation of working groups at the RT/RW level for implementation and monitoring, ongoing campaigns, and ends with a comprehensive evaluation to measure behavior change and provide follow-up recommendations, with the hope of creating a cleaner and healthier environment. The community service program in Kelurahan Sukarasa succeeded in significantly improving knowledge, awareness, and practices related to healthy living behavior and waste management, with personal hygiene knowledge rising from 45% to 85% and waste management awareness rising from 30% to 80%. This success highlights the importance of continuing education and community-based approaches in addressing health and environmental issues, which overall help to reduce environmental burdens and improve community well-being. Communities are advised to continue developing and implementing sustainable education programs and participatory approaches to maintain and improve awareness and practices of healthy living and waste management in the community.
iqbalKahar KaharAde Kamaludin

In hypertensive patients, platelet hyperaggregation occurs. Platelet hyperaggregation will have a bad outcome in acute infarction stroke, in the form of death or neurologic deficits. One plant species that can play a role in preventing hyperaggregation complications is tomato fruit (Solanum lycopersicum) which is a horticultural plant cultivated in Indonesia. The compound content in Tomato Fruit (Solanum lycopersicum) includes solanine (0.007%), saponin, folic acid, malic acid, citric acid, bioflavonoids (including lycopene, α, and ß-carotene), protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, and histamine which function as antiaggregation. This research uses 2 methods, namely survey and sampling methods to determine the scope of empowerment and education in the form of counseling and mentoring. Apart from that, another method used is an educational method in the form of counseling and assistance to provide an understanding of the use of tomatoes to prevent the risk of blood vessel blockages. The results of the research were 20 cadres with a presentation increase of 51.67%, while the results from 20 residents had a presentation increase of 75.06%. Wilcoxon test results with p value (Sig) < 0.05. This shows that there is a significant difference in scores between the pre-test scores and the post-test scores of cadres and residents of RW. 16, Cipageran Village, North Cimahi District, Cimahi City.
Ganjar NoviarEem HayatiRiski Nur RamadhaniBetty Nurhayati

The limitations of healthcare personnel in Indonesia result in suboptimal health service coverage. Therefore, a participatory development strategy is an effective approach to address the stunting issue. It's called participatory because not only the government but also the community needs awareness and action to tackle this problem. Empowering health cadres in existing community health posts is one solution. Stunting cases often go unnoticed, requiring community empowerment to recognize and understand its signs. Early awareness enables prompt intervention, preventing severe complications. The goal of this community service is to empower the community through health cadres in addressing and preventing stunting issues in the Rasau Jaya Health Center area. Implementing a more participatory community empowerment model in handling stunting problems is also emphasized in the Rasau Jaya Health Center area. The community service method involves enhancing the capacities of cadres through mentoring activities. This includes training, cadre refreshers, socialization, and practical sessions to improve their knowledge and skills. Additionally, raising awareness and knowledge about stunting, its health impacts, and future consequences is crucial. It aims to broaden understanding of prevention and intervention efforts against stunting. Results from the community service in Rasau Jaya Tiga, Kubu Raya, indicate that empowering health cadres successfully enhances knowledge in stunting intervention. Cadres proficiently perform anthropometry and determine the anemia status of pregnant women, reflecting commitment to stunting prevention aligned with community service goals.
Desi DesiIkawati SulistyaningsihMuhammad JahriNopriantini NopriantiniYanuarti PetrikaMartinus GintingAyu RafionyDahliansyah DahliansyahMauliana Ulfa

Trash is anything that is simply thrown away, and in many cases, it causes problems
for the environment. A World Bank report shows that the amount of waste in cities
around the world is expected to continue to increase by 70% from this year to 2025,
from 1.3 billion tonnes per year to 2.2 billion tonnes per year. The largest increases
occurred in cities in poor countries. Based on World Bank data, domestic waste
generation in Indonesia is 151,921 tons per day, which means that each Indonesian
resident throws away approximately 0.85 kilograms of waste every day. Based on the
same data, only 80% of all waste produced globally is collected, while the rest is
destroyed and pollutes the environment. From the results of a field survey carried out in
Watungarandu Village, Lalonggasumeeto District, Konawe Regency, we found that
there was still a lot of rubbish that was not disposed of properly, was thrown in random
places and was also littered everywhere. This is what motivates us MD-MBKM KKN
students in Watungarandu Village to provide education to create public awareness not
to litter. The aim of installing this waste education sign is to provide awareness to the
public about the dangers of waste that is thrown away carelessly. The trash sign itself
explains how long it takes for the trash to decompose. The methods used are
presentations and consultations. The results of this activity aim to increase public
awareness of the dangers of littering and improve the welfare of the people of
Watungarandu Village.
Sartiah YusranHartati BaharFindri FindriyantiOselya Meidy Kombong

Stunting is a nutritional problem caused by a lack of nutritional intake from food that lasts long enough. Good and proper nutrition is important to support dental health. Conversely, dental health is also important for adequate nutritional intake. The severity of dental caries is a risk of lack of nutritional intake. The stunting rate of Garut Regency is currently at 23%, while the national average is 21%. According to the performance report of Bojongloa Health Center in December 2022 there were 82 toddlers with stunting cases, and there were 38 toddlers with malnutrition status. The purpose of this community service is to help the community, especially cadres and pregnant women, in increasing knowledge about oral health through the regional partnership program. The cadres involved totaled 22 people, who were representatives from each RW 01 - 11 of 10 posyandu. The results before training showed the average value obtained by cadres was 3.5 and 7.5 average value obtained after training. At the time of cadre assistance, the average value obtained before counseling on pregnant women was 4.4, and after counseling an average value of 6.8 was obtained. While the results of the assessment of cadre skills in counseling are in the moderate category. Conclusion: there is an increase in cadre knowledge about dental health and balanced nutrition with moderate kreteria (72%), and the results of the evaluation of cadre skills in counseling pregnant women with sufficient kreteria.
Denden Ridwan ChaerudinYonan HeriyantoTri WidyastutiYenni Hendriani PraptiwiM.
