Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 Birth trauma is a major problem in obstetric services. Neonatal asphyxia is a health problem at birth. The risk of experiencing complications in the organs of the body. Caput succedaneum is a birth scar that is visible in the head area after the baby is born. Complications that can occur include infection, jaundice, and anemia. 

The method used is case reports and documentation in the form of SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Analysis, Management). Data collection techniques through anamnesis, physical examination, observation, documentation studies, and literature studies.

Subjective data obtained by Mrs. E, first day of last menstruation 16-05-2022, interpretation of labor 23-02-2023, clear amniotic fluid, born with a history of childbirth, the mother experienced uterine inertia. Objective data were obtained by babies born crying weakly, body skin color reddish blue extremities, weak muscle tone, there was a lump on the head that felt fluid and soft. The analysis obtained by neonates with asphyxia and caput succedaneum. Management is given by carrying out the initial steps of resuscitation, followed by post-resuscitation care, monitoring and caring for caput succedaneum.

After taking care  for 13 days it can be concluded that the baby only breastfeeds, frequency 7-9x/minute, defecate ±6x/day, urinate 4-6x/day, general condition is good, skin is reddish in color, heart rate 133x/minute, respiratory rate 47x/minute, good physiological reflexes, active muscle tone, body weight 3700 grams, body length 49 cm, and there is no lump in the head area.
