Abstract

Knowledge is the result of knowing, and this happens after people make sensations to a paricular object.. Damage to the teeth such as dental caries cases can still be done with the dental fillings treatment because it is a way to repair tooth decay in order to return to the original shape and can function properly. But different things happen in students of 5th grade SD because of 25 students only 3 students who received dental fillings treatment. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation of dental and oral health knowledge with Performance Treatment Index in students of 5th grade SD. This type of research is a literature study. Literature study is a research conducted by researchers by collecting various sources relating to the problem and research objectives. The method in the study of literature studies, which will be used to collect research data in the form of library data that has been selected and analyzed. Data collection conducted in this study is to collect various references about the relationship of knowledge with Performance Treatment Index in elementary students. The results of this study indicate a is no correlation of knowledge about dental and oral health with Performance Treatment Index in students of 5th grade SD.
